At Nurseries by Gymfinity Kids we make smart food decisions for little tummies. Which is why we are teaming up with the Yum Yum Food Company & Annabel Karmel to provide our children with the yummiest nutritious diet.
Annabel explains; “Eating habits and tastes are formed from an early age, so it’s crucial to introduce a good variety of foods at the earliest possible opportunity. Nurseries play such an important role in ensuring that children receive the nutritional balance they need for their optimum development and long-term health.”
Studies show that a child’s diet directly impacts their growth and development. However, when it comes to food, we know that toddlers are often the toughest critics. So, we asked our expert how to balance nutrition with flavour…
With over six million cookbooks sold worldwide, Annabel believes nutrition doesn’t have to compromise on taste; “Serving up something super healthy to a child that doesn’t tick the ‘tasty’ box is likely to be returned to sender. And that’s where my 27 years of expertise comes in; every meal I’ve prepared for The Yum Yum Food Company’s menus are filled with flavour and goodness. There is no compromise.”
It’s also suggested in studies that good nutrition encourages better performance during physical activity. While physical activity plays a huge role in the development of a healthy body, it’s also important for developing mentally and socially.
Yum Yum Food company founder and mum-of-two Abigail Simon, recognises the importance of nutrition is nurseries, explaining that her company’s mission has always been to provide healthy meals to enable each and every child to flourish.
Abigail said: “every child is unique, which is why I’m committed to the safeguarding of children with allergies, intolerances and special requirements. Our online system that ensures every child, no matter what their requirement, receives the correct meal to meet their needs.”
